    • For Foreign Nationals: A valid passport must be carried to gain entry into the sacred sites of Char Dham.
  2. Health and Fitness Considerations
    • Altitude Awareness: The Char Dham temples are situated at high altitudes where air is thinner. This makes it challenging for individuals with respiratory issues such as asthma. If you suffer from such conditions, it’s strongly advised to consult with your doctor before undertaking the journey.
    • Physical Readiness: All passengers should be in good physical and mental health to endure the journey. The high-altitude environment and potential for sudden weather changes require a good level of physical fitness.

  3. Clothing and Weather Preparation

  4. Medication and Health Precautions
    • Carry Essential Medications: Due to the remote locations and limited medical facilities, it is important to bring along any personal medications you might need. Ensure you have enough to last for the duration of your journey.
    • Medical Certificate: Obtain a fitness certificate from your healthcare provider before embarking on the trip, especially if you have existing health conditions.
  5. Baggage Regulations
    • Weight Limit: Each passenger is allowed to carry a maximum of 5 kg of baggage. Given the limited storage space within the helicopter, large suitcases are not permitted. Opt for compact, manageable bags.
  6. Weight Management and Boarding Procedures
    • Weight Check: Passengers will be weighed at the helipad before boarding. The total weight for all passengers on a single helicopter must not exceed 420 kg. Ensure accurate weight information to avoid any boarding issues. The pilot may reallocate passengers if necessary to balance the helicopter for safe flight.
