Dodital is situated at an elevation of 3024m, north of Uttarkashi and is surrounded by dense forests of oak, pine, deodar and rhododendrons. The crystal-clear lake is full of rare fishes and the Himalayan golden trouts. The trek ascends gradually through thick forest and beautiful mountainous scenery

Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Dehradun – Uttarkashi

Morning arrive Dehradun Railway Station, meet our representative and drive to Uttarkashi, on arrival check in to the resort, later briefing will be given by our head mountaineering instructor.Dinner and overnight stay in the resort.

Day 02: Uttarkashi – Sangam Chatti – Bhewra

After breakfast drive to road head at Sangam Chatti (1550 mt). Start your first day's trek to Bhewra (2160 mt) few km after Agoda (2050 mt.) by covering approx. 8 kms in 04 to 05 hrs. The trek passes through dense forest. Arrive Bhewra and set-up camp near water fall for overnight stay.

Meals: Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner

Day 03: Bhewra – Majhi – Dodital

After breakfast start the trek to Majhi. Stop here for lunch. Majhi has few Shephard hut and it offers very beautiful view of Darwa Top. After lunch continue Trek to Dodital (3024m), in about 4-5 hrs. Dodital is a beautiful lake surrounded by forests of Pine, Deodar, Oak etc. Lake is full of Himalayan Golden Trouts. Arrive and overnight stay in tents.

Day 04: Dodital – Darwa top – Dodital

Morning after breakfast, we move to day excursion to Darwa Pass, from the pass you can see snow covered Bander Punch Range. Return to Dodital for lunch, Afternoon visit temple and explore Dodital lake. Overnight stay in the tent at Dodital

Day 05: Dodital – Agoda – Kalyani – Uttarkashi

After early breakfast trek down to Kalyani with packed lunch. On reaching the road head, drive back to Uttarkashi and drive your onwards destination.

Day 06: Uttarkashi Departure

Morning after breakfast checkout on the resort and dept to Dehradun railway station
