Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Shikhar Nature Resort

Altitude: 1,890 M

Upon arrival at resort which is located on the Bank of River Bhagirathi Ganga. Welcome tea/coffee and allotment of the tent. Evening participates in symbolic Ganga Aarti at the bank of Bhagirathi River, later enjoy bonfire with sweet music followed by dinner and overnight stay at Resort.

Day 02: Excursion of Uttarkashi Town

Trek: 03 kms

After breakfast visit Uttarkashi town for a guided tour of Vishwanath Temple (the temple is devoted to Lord Shiva.The main attraction of this temple is the Shivling which is 60 cm high & 90 cm circumference), Nehru Institute of Mountaineering and Himalaya Museum. Return to the Resort for lunch. Post lunch experience the thrilling River Crossing in Assi Ganga river.Evening rerun to resort, relax by the river side, and enjoy the sweet breeze of the Valley. Overnight stay at Resort.

Day 03: Uttarkashi – Harsil – Uttarkashi

Drive: 75 kms.

Time: 03 hrs.

Altitude: 4,745 M

Wakeup early morning and go for a guided village walk, return resort for fresh up and breakfast. Post breakfast drive to Harsil. Harsil is an unspoiled and hidden jewel of Uttarakhand state offering ample scope for people seeking peace and serenity in the lap of Himalayas. It is situated on the banks of Bhagirathi River at an elevation of 2620 mts above sea level. This quaint hamlet has become popular in recent years among travel enthusiasts and nature lovers. Later return to resort for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 04 Uttarkashi Departure

Morning after breakfast check out from resort and drive back to your onwards destination

Natural beauty between Mountains River and natural greenery. Good food. The arrangement of hospitality is very good. Mr. Vishal has done very fine role throughout the stay. In last I enjoyed a lot and will come again here with the family.

The Facilities at Shikhar Nature Resort were excellent. The tents were clean and well made up and so were the rest rooms. The entertainment facilities at the resorts were good and everyone enjoyed their stay there.
